Dr. Gyula Soos and his wife, Robyn, opened Dr. Soos Pediatrics in June 2007. The After Owls Clinic began in September 2009 to provide after-hours care outside of regular office hours. Dr. Soos was born in Budapest, Hungary, and received his Medical Doctoral degree with honors from Semmelweis Medical School in Hungary in 1989. After medical school, he spent one year as a teaching faculty member at the Second Department of Anatomy and practiced for a year as general practitioner during his compulsory military service. He spent six years doing basic research at Clemson University as well as the University of Iowa. Dr. Soos then fulfilled his pediatric residency with the Medical Center of Central Georgia 1997-2000. He practiced with The Children’s Clinic in Dublin, GA for seven years before opening his own.
The Soos family includes three children: Brantley, Spencer and Mallory. They welcomed their first granddaughter, Annistyn Kate in August of 2014, who was followed by their first grandson, Brecken Price in July of 2015. They attend First United Methodist Church in Dublin, GA. His hobbies and interests include racing drones, chess, music, reading, gardening, and spending time with his family and dogs.
Amber Price joined Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2009. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition in 1989. Later, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College in 1992, as well as a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2002. A native of Dublin, Amber has been a nurse practitioner for 16 years, with nine of those years working in pediatrics. She has also worked in the emergency department, intensive care unit, and adult internal medicine.
Amber and her husband Michael have two children, Luke and Michael James; a daughter-in-law, Hannah, and a grandson, Harrison. They attend First Baptist Church of Dublin. Some of her hobbies include flower gardening, CrossFit, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
Jessica Lamb, originally from Dexter, Ga., joined Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2009. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2002 and a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2009. Jessica began the After Owls Clinic at Dr. Soos Pediatrics in September of 2009. Prior to finishing her Nurse Practitioner’s degree, she was an RN for seven years in the Emergency Department at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Ga.
She and her husband Mark have three children: Madelyn, Jaxson, & Nora Grace. They attend Baker Baptist Church. Jessica’s favorite moments are spent with her family and cheering on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
Tara Lausch began working at Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2015 part time before joining the team full time in 2017. She attended Dublin High School before attending Georgia Southern University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2010. Tara worked in adult critical care for four years and pediatric critical care for three years before graduating from Georgia College and State University with her Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner in 2014. After getting her FNP, she worked full time in the emergency department at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin for three years where she still works part time.
Tara married her high school sweetheart, Adam, in 2014 after dating for 9 years. They have two children: a son, Coy, born in 2016 and daughter, Callyn, born in 2018. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.
Aimee graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 1992, and then completed her Bachelor of Nursing at University of Missouri/Kansas City in 2010. She received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner through Walden University in 2017.
A native of Laurens County, Aimee started her nursing career in the Neonatal ICU at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. She moved back to the Middle Georgia area a few years later, and served as the Neonatal Transport Coordinator, Assistant Director (1997-2012), and Nursing Director (2012-2016) at the of the 56 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Medical Center Navicent Health. Aimee began working with us as one of our full time Nurse Practitioners in April 2017.
Aimee and husband Brad are proud parents of 3 children: Brooke, Bailee, and Evan. During Aimee’s spare time she enjoys her kid’s events, quiet dates with her husband, watching the Georgia Bulldogs play, cooking, church events, and reading.
Annie Andrews-Bodi graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2002 with a Bachelors in Biology, and Minor in Spanish. She received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Annie is married to Chip and together they have 3 children: Ethan, Nathan, and Victoria. She loves being driven crazy by her little people and providing their taxi service around town. Her hobbies include crossfit, traveling, cooking at home with Chip, and cheering for her kids. Annie serves at Pine Forest United Methodist Church with her family and strives to love Jesus and love people.
Chereese Rowe received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with minor in Chemistry from Mercer University in 2009. She then earned her Masters of Physician Assistant from Mercer in 2012. Rowe is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She also practices in the fields of OB/GYN and Emergency Medicine part time, where she has six years of experience.
Chereese is married to her husband Jonathan, and they are blessed to have two wonderful daughters named Ellie and Eva. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys meeting others who practice speaking the language. In her free time, she enjoys exercising as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends. Chereese and her husband are involved in planting a church in Dublin called Covenant Church (PCA).
Laura joined Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2013. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia in 2011. Laura is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
She is happily married to Bubba , and together they have two children: son Ridge and daughter Georgia Grace. Laura is an active member of the Dublin Junior League, an organization of young women who strive to give back to the Laurens County community through volunteering and other fundraising activities. She enjoys exercising, traveling, attending UGA football games, and spending time with family and friends
